This unit will focus on the major philosophies from the eastern Roman empire (e.g. Stoicism, Epicureanism, Hedonism, Astrology, etc.). Students will focus on the concepts and beliefs of these philosophies, as well as their history, influence on Roman society and their major supporters or followers.
